PSC: a Primer-Specificity-Checking program to improve PCR efficiency
Introduction: The PSC program is designed for evaluating primer specificity in PCR by checking the matching ability between the primer and DNA template. This program can predict most of the possible amplicons including both the specific and non-specific PCR products. See readme for details.
Usage: The user needs to select the species database (default is Human RefSeq), the word size (default is 11), the range of target amplicon size for display (default is 0~5kb), and most importantly, input the forward primer and backward primer for routine PCR or multiple primers for multiplex PCR. Then click the 'submit' button.
